The DAR held a Proclamation for Viet Nam Veterans at the Bosque County Courthouse on March 28th. Just to update our followers, we have not found our location yet but we have had several conversation with different locations. We will update as soon as we determine where we will be located. We do know we want to be in Bosque County with access for the Military based at Fort Hood.

We received our approval letter from the IRS today, so we are ready to move forward with our Non Profit Our effective date was February 2, 2018

We have received our Non Profit Status on 2/2/18. We will operate under the name of Returning Retreat Inc. because you can not have Veterans in your name without approval from many different organizations but our web site will still be https://vetsretreat.com  

Over the past several weeks, we have had several meetings with different departments at Fort Hood, we are generating additional information as to the needs of Veterans and their families.
